Creativity to Go: Food Pantry Art Kits

Our ongoing project to bring art kits to local food pantries received a major boost recently! A special shoutout goes to Girl Scout Troop 56931, who volunteered their time to pack each kit with care. These kits provide far more than just supplies—they offer local children a dedicated space to express themselves, explore their creativity, and find joy. Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered to make this possible.

Art for a Cause: Custom Pet Portraits

A few weeks later, board member Jan Reagan teamed up with local Girl Scouts for another heartwarming project: creating custom pet portraits to support animal shelters.

Using supplies funded by your generous donor dollars, the scouts learned new artistic skills while making a real difference. Their beautiful canvases helped raise funds and awareness for shelter pets at the Hinsdale Humane Society as they wait for their forever homes.
